Our Story
Tailorly was born out of frustration. Our founders, Chaitanya and Sam, experienced firsthand the challenges of the modern job application process while helping their friends navigate career transitions during the pandemic.
Despite having impressive qualifications, many of their friends weren't getting interviews. The reason? Their resumes weren't making it past the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) that companies use to filter candidates.
After manually optimizing resumes for dozens of friends and seeing their interview rates triple, Raj and Priya realized there had to be a better way. In 2023, they combined their expertise in AI and recruitment to create Tailorly—a tool that would democratize access to professional resume optimization for everyone.
